Amanda Atkinson, vice president of sustainable services at Holder Construction Co., has 25 years of experience in the construction industry. She leads the company’s sustainability efforts, supporting both project- and company-level initiatives. Based in Atlanta, Amanda has supported more than 250 projects nationwide and influenced the sustainable building impacts of universities, airports, hotels, data centers and many Fortune 500 companies.

Throughout her career, she has been a champion of reducing and maximizing use of waste generated from construction and demolition. Amanda has directed Holder’s waste management policies and procedures and helped develop guiding principles for the industry through the Contractor’s Commitment to Sustainable Building Practices framework. She is a LEED Fellow and serves on the advisory board of the nonprofit Lifecycle Building Center in Atlanta.
