Joseph Goicochea
Chief, Division of Materials and Waste Management, Ohio Environmental Protection Agency
Joseph Goicochea has more than 20 years of experience in leadership and technical roles within the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency’s Division of Materials and Waste Management. Most recently, he served as assistant chief of the division. His current responsibilities include oversight of Ohio’s solid waste and construction and demolition debris programs, including landfills, composting facilities and scrap tire management.
Joe earned a master’s degree in public health and a bachelor’s degree in natural resources from The Ohio State University. He is a registered environmental health specialist with the state of Ohio.
