Lauren Asfour
Senior Project Engineer, Posillico Wash Plant
Lauren Asfour, senior project engineer at Posillico Materials, has seven years of experience in the aggregates industry with a focus on soil washing technology. She was part of the team that commissioned Posillico’s wash plant in 2019, the first contaminated soil washing facility in the United States.
For the past two years, Lauren’s role has expanded to include overseeing project controls for all 11 of Posillico Materials’ facilities, including two asphalt plants, two soil washing plants and six concrete crushing operations.
She has been a member of the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA) for the past five years and joined its board of directors in 2025. She also is one of the committee chairs for CDRA’s Aggregates Recycling Committee.
